\The dig are a four piece rock band straight out of New York. I just discovered them after they opened for Brother at the Mercury Lounge last night. I came out of the show loving both bands, but came out more impressed with these guys. They came out dedicated to rock. Proof of this dedication lied in the keyboard/guitar player playing with a cast on both his foot and his arm. When I asked him what happened he said that he fell off the stage at one of the SXSW shows.... That's hardcore. The Dig's sound consists of catchy lyrics and guitar riffs that get you to bob your head and move around a little bit. The singing would alternate between the guitarist and bass player. Since it's hard to truly describe what they sound like, I thought it would be best to just post some YouTube's of them below.
