Coachella Bands to Watch

Oh yes everyone it's that time of the year again. SXSW is a distant memory and Coachella is about to start and kick off music festival season. The greatest season of them all... This year has a sick lineup with Kanye, The Strokes, Arcade Fire and the Jonas Brothers. Wait what? That's the Kings of Leon not Jonas Brothers? My bad.. their last two records had me confused... Just kidding.. Sort of. Anyway lets get down to the important things and start laying out some more under the radar bands that you guys should check out by showing a video accompanied by a short blurb.. So let's begin.

Twin Shadow

What is it with this guy? At first glance he looks like just another Brooklyn hipster that tries too hard.. But after he sings it all makes sense. Hipsters could only dream of being this effortlessly cool. This guy is great and killed it at SXSW. Definitely worth checking out.

Ellie Goulding

This cover of Elton John's "Your Song" is just too beautiful. If you don't fall in love with her after this you don't deserve to see her at Coachella.

Delta Spirit

I feel weird putting them here because I figured they were well known, but I saw that they are in tiny letters on the poster so that sort of scared me.. All you need to know about these guys is that they give so much energy and passion in their performances it makes them one of the best live bands out there today.

Odd Future

SWAG! FREE EARL! SWAG! WOLF GANG! SWAG!

Marina and the Diamonds

Marina and the Diamonds bring a great uniqueness to the pop game. She's beautiful, talented and my future wife. Two of those three are true. Can you guess which one is the false statement?

Yelle

If you need your French dance music fix in the desert, look no further than Yelle.

Rye Rye

MIA's creation is sure to put on a great show. Rye Rye is another case of the small letters on the poster intimidating me..

So that's my list. Hope everybody has a blast at Coachella this year!
